Sharp Aquos LC-C3237U Review
What makes the Sharp Aquous LC-C3237U a great HDTV is that it is a true wide screen television. The Aquous model line only does wide screens. Along with the wide screen view you get to enjoy Sharp's Advanced Super View technology which enhances all of the colors especially the black and whites.
The LC-C3237U should be considered a safe buy and comes with a lot of the features that are standard now with its competition. It has a 16:9 aspect ratio and a HDTV resolution of 1366 X 768. If you have a lot of accessories to hook up to the HDTV then you should know that it has 3 HDMI and 2 HD inputs as well as jacks for a PC so you can run your games, movies, etc from your computer and have them show up on the screen.
With a history of making great electronics you probably have owned something made by Sharp before. While this televison is not the most upscale 32 inch HDTV on the market you are still going to enjoy it. It comes with a stand that can be removed if you want to hang it from the wall. Unfortunately the stand does not move. To get that feature it will cost you a little bit more with a upgraded model. The only color you can get the Sharp Aquous LC-C3237U in is black. It does have the capability to plug your laptop or pc into it and use it as a monitor.
The audio system that comes with it is ok. Nothing too fancy but its not going to let you down. The speakers put out 10 watts each but there are no surround sound capabilities with it. You will need to additional floor or ceiling speakers for the surround sound effect.
Be prepared to spend a little over $400 on the Sharp Aquous LC-C3237U. For the money you are getting a great 32 inch HDTV. This is one of those televisions you will probably be able to keep for eight years or more and then hand it down to somebody in the family and let them get another couple of years out of it. The lamp life on this HDTV is set at 60,000 hours. Do you think you will put in that many hours of wathcing TV or playing video games on it in a lifetime? Probably not.
