The RCA L32HD36 has a high gloss piano black body finish, is well packaged, weighs forty pounds, and is a thirty two inch LCD 1080i HDTV with integrated digital and standard television combined tuner. It has a side panel USB port, a sleep timer, V-chip parental control and Version 3.0 Energy Star compliant. Therefore, it saves energy and electricity dollars. And it sits upon a swivel stand.

The RCA name brand represents quality and the RCA L32HD36 is no exception. It has a PC input port which is great because you can use your screen as a monitor and everyone in the room can see the same thing at the same time. This is really awesome when you've just shot some images and are wanting to share them in a hurry.

Setup is a snap. There is not a lot of product literature to read through when taking it out of the box. Its pretty much plug and play with the RCA L32HD36. The unit has SRS® 3D audio enhancement and I like it. Output is via two 8 channel front speakers with Dolby processing. The video on the RCA L32HD36 is excellent! It has a 1366 x 768 display resolution and EN-VTM picture processing technology. The colors are crisp and bright.

On the downside, this unit has 1 component port which means that you have to buy a power center to accommodate more plug-ins, then configure that center to work with the VHS, DVD, cable TV, Satellite TV or antennae. Then, when you go from cable TV to regular digital, you have to figure out the settings for that combination.

The RCA L32HD36 is priced right around $800 which puts it in the mid to high level price range for 32 inch HDTVs. The features and quality you get with a RCA justify the price.
