LG 32LG40 Review

LG 32LG40The LG company seems to always be a step ahead of their competition regardless of what sector of the HDTV range they are going after. The LG 32LG40 is no exception. What makes this particular HDTV so neat is that it has features that most other TVs do not. One cool feature is that it has built in invisible speakers. What LG has done is installed two mini sub woofers and two small tweeters into the frame of the HDTV. Doing so creates a "sweet spot" which delivers a surround sound system effect without all of the extra speakers.

If the picture is not what you think it should be you can go into the menu and go into expert mode. You will be able to change the clarity and color of the screen to whatever you think it should be. Change every single color in the setup mode to make it what you want. If you are watching a particular event like sports or playing a video game you can now change the settings in the AV Mode. The LG 32LG40 will change its settings to make the game feel like you are sitting there in the stands. Video games seem to come to life. Lets not forget about the built in DVD player. That makes life a little easier. Once less appliance that you need to buy for your home theater system.

Are you sick and tired of all the menu features that take forever to go through? The LG 32LG40 has made it easier with a simplified menu and pictures to make it faster to go through. The sound quality you get is great. They have improved on their technology that eliminates background noise or enhances it. You are in control of what you want to hear.

Can't stand a bunch of cords going into the back of your HDTV? The LG32LG40 has cut down on all of those cords. They have one cord that comes out of the back of the TV and lets you connect your other appliances to it. This eliminates the eye sore of having a bunch of cords being visible to you or your guests.

While the LG32LG40 is considered to be a mid range 32 inch HDTV by LG standards it should not be considered so up against its competition. The features you get along with a not so expensive price of $600 - $700 should feel like a bargain to anybody looking to buy a new television. While most HDTVs in that price range have a 780 pixel screen you get one that has a 1080 pixel screen.
